First off you will need the music, it could be from a client, it could be from a friend, it could be yours. The music will inspire your audio video production; be it the narrative, visuals, theme, all of the above or something which has nothing to do with the song but still functions. Together with the genre of music you will know about conventions; some you might want to followalong with others you wont.
Look for samples. It is just right so you will have a clue how they work, to search for samples. Choose the one which meets with your preferences and needs. In this manner, you'll also just be sure you will be pleased with the final result of their work.

When we're shooting video for no money or little, we're often forced to cut corners. There's no"camera man" as there is on a professional set. Instead, you have to set the camera up on a tripod and let it go. If you are doing video you may encounter mistakes. Just let it go if it's impossible to go back and reshoot the creation. Make attempt to get a set up, and do with the footage. Or even better, lie and say it was an"artistic" decision.
